Exactly 4
months ago, on January 11th, I went to the Tuncurry Rock Pool in Newcastle. A rock pool is just basically a
large sea area surrounded by big rocks. January was the first time I’ ve
visited the Rock Pool and I've admired the place.
Since it
was summer, the sky was still bright at 8pm. :)
As the
evening became darker, I was so surprised by the scenery. It was
incredible to see the clash of Nature’s surroundings with the city.
Part of
the rock pool land was extended out into the sea area, so it was like a
peninsula.
We saw a
few empty beach areas and the sand was so clean. We also watched the class of
the waves strive against each other.
The sky
became grey, but my camera altered the colour to be dark blue. It created a
great contrast amongst the city.

When it
became darker, it was colder so we decided to head back to our hotel. The
clouds were like paintings and the sunset was falling. It was an amazing
experience.
The last time I've visited the Rock Pool, it was in March (Easter Holidays). While I was there I recorded a video of the beach waves and the cityscape =)
