2nd Day in Vegas
&
The Grand Canyon Bus Tour !
USA: 13/4 SYDNEY:
14/4
I realised there were no teenagers or kids going to the Grand Canyon. My parents sat in the back seat on the right side. I sat infront of them, but then I had to go to the toilet in the bus. the toilet didn't even have a flush which was disgusting but I was pretty happy to be the first person to use the toilet. :)
Some lady took my seat on the bus, but then I sat in the last seat on the left side of the bus.
The guy that talked about the Grand Canyon was french and talked about Celine Dion a lot. I was getting a bit of a headache from all the talking.
The scenery was literally like a painting. It was incredible. I don't know if the bus window altered the colours.
the Sun looks Like a
Supernova ! :)
The camera made the sun look like a supernova.
We were given lunch passes that we had to carry with us so we could have some lunch. For recess, we were given a muffin, biscuits and an apple. I only ate the apple.
When the bus stopped in the middle of the desert, we saw the Eagle's Point or something. It was rocks that looked like an eagle had spread it's wings.
I guess it's just called the Eagle's Point sound it sounds more prestigious and important.
We also saw some fake tipis.
There was a souvenir shop in the desert. We went into the shops because we thought, it would be warmer. My mum bought a spoon for $10 and I bought a small fake show for $5. Everything was pretty expensive, even the shirts were $25.
We had lunch somewhere in the middle of the desert and used our lunch passes. It was a great thing that hot food was served.
We had meat & veges. Since it was windy that day, it was so hard to eat and my food got cold pretty quickly. There was also coffee & hot chocolate available. The brand of hot chocolate was Swiss Miss. I took about 6 packets and stuffed them in my pocket.
We were at the Grand Canyon for about 3 hours.
After 3 cold hours, we were taken back to The Strip. On the way back, mum sat next to me because she thought I was lonely. We saw some cactus.
When I was in Vegas, I never knew that the Grand Canyon was in Arizona. :O
When the bus arrived in Vegas, I was so glad to be back in the city. My family were the last people to leave the bus. My mum left her phone on the bus, but she gladly got it back.
We arrived in the hotel somewhere in the afternoon, since we left really early.
We rested for the rest of the day. Vegas was too much walking for us so I guess our third day in Vegas was more of a day of relaxation. :)
I took a lot more pictures but I didnt want this blog to be filled with rocks .
